Refund policy

At PapiPet we want you and your pet to be completely happy with every purchase.
This policy follows the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and explains your rights and our obligations.

1. Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law

You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if the product you purchased:
Is faulty or defective, is not as described, or is not fit for the purpose we advertised.

These rights apply regardless of any additional warranty we may offer.

2. Change of Mind

Because our treats are perishable and for animal consumption:
Opened or used products cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival.
If you change your mind and the product is unopened, unused and in its original packaging, you may request an exchange or store credit within 7 days of delivery.
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

3. Satisfaction Guarantee

If your pet simply does not enjoy our treats, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will happily offer a replacement or refund.
Please provide proof of purchase and a short description of the issue.

4. How to Request a Return or Refund

To lodge a claim:
Email us at papipettreats@gmail.com or call [phone number].
Provide your order number or proof of purchase.
Include a brief description of the issue and photographs if the product is damaged or incorrect.

5. Shipping Costs

If the product is faulty, damaged or not as described, PapiPet will cover all return shipping costs.
For change-of-mind returns (where accepted), the customer pays all shipping costs.

6. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

7. Sale or Clearance Items

Sale or clearance items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
This does not affect your rights under the ACL if an item is faulty.
